This website is for you. However, many of us feel more comfortable practicing with an instructor we know personally. You’ve seen my professional credentials page, so below is a little more background and personal information about me.
My primary education is in education. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Instructional Systems Design. I also earned a certificate in Biblical studies through Louisville Bible College. During my initial careers, I taught fitness classes and yoga on the side. After retiring, I started my own business, Sustainable Fitness. Through Sustainable Fitness, I have been able to help more people to maintain a wellness program rather than ride the roller coaster of fitness fads. It has been my dream for many years to expand the business to include farm land and to incorporate other sustainable practices. In 2021, my husband and I were able to purchase a local farm. We believe this was indeed a "yes" to many prayers. We named the farm Lost Acres . Here, we practice organic, sustainable farming and have adopted several rescued animals. My hope is to eventually offer yoga, farm tours, and to share how different parts of God's creation can help each other to sustain.
