What Type of Yoga Do You Teach?

Through Sustainable Fitness, I offer personal and group yoga based primarily on Thirumoolar's Therapeutic Ashtanga yoga. I earned both my 200 hour and my 300 hour RYT under the teachings of Mary Irby of White Crow Yoga. My education is based primarily on Thirumoolar's Therapeutic Ashtanga yoga.


My intention is for each class to provide a practice that is accessible to people of varying body types and experience with yoga.  Each class typically includes:

  • theme and/or guided meditation

  • guided pranayama

  • gradual progression of asanas

  • more detailed instruction for enhancing asanas

  • use of prop(s) for support as well as challenge
